Cookies and Local Storage
PickMe uses local browser storage to keep drafts and settings. It does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking.
Effective and last updated: July 16, 2026
This information is stored using localStorage, not as an original uploaded CV file.
Local storage lets the product preserve work between pages, recover a draft after navigation, and operate without requiring an account. Disabling it may prevent the create, review, publish, dashboard, and deletion flows from working correctly.
PickMe records limited server-side counters for public-page views, link copies, contact-button clicks, and print or PDF actions. These counters are used to show candidates whether a page was opened and to operate the service. They are not used for cross-site advertising profiles.
PickMe does not currently set marketing, retargeting, social-media advertising, or third-party behavioural analytics cookies. Therefore, the current product does not display a marketing-cookie consent banner. If non-essential tracking is added, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before that tracking is enabled.
This notice will be updated if PickMe introduces accounts, payments, new analytics, advertising, or additional storage technologies. Where law requires consent, non-essential technology will remain off until consent is obtained.
